Baja California Sur makes up the Southern tip of the Baja Peninsula which extends southward from San Diego, California near the U.S. border for over 1,000 miles with the Pacific Ocean forming its Western shore and The Sea of Cortez forming its Eastern Shore. The Baja Peninsula is know world wide for its beautiful white sand beaches, clean and clear ocean waters, and spectacular mountain scenery. | | |
| The home is directly on The Sea of Cortez in an area known as the East Cape which is secluded, safe, and sparsely populated but only 90 minutes North of the immensely popular resort towns of Cabo San Lucas and San Jose Del Cabo, 45 minutes North of the international airport at Los Cabos, and 90 minutes South of the charming city of La Paz. La Paz is the capital of Baja California Sur and also has an international airport. The village of La Ribera is safe and friendly. Few people lock their doors except for externded absences. | | |
